the-BA : Lloyd's Register Educational Trust Teachers Prize

The Lloyd's Register Educational Trust Teachers' Prize was founded this year to recognise the advice, support and effort given by teachers to help students complete CREST projects in school.

This year's award was given to Dr Elizabeth Major from Mary Webb School. She was nominated by Justine Ranson from the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Education Business Partnership (EBP) as being heavily involved with promoting CREST and motivating her students to take up hands-on activites in science and engineering for over 5 years. Her Prize was to attend the Intel ISEF competition in Altlanta, Georgia in the US all expenses paid. She also received a trophy to take back to school and a £500 bursary.
