How about writing a science story for younger children?
Illustrating your story
When you look at children's stories, you'll notice that a lot of them have pictures inside. Some authors are also brilliant artists, and draw their own pictures. Other authors work closely with one particular artist or illustrator. A good example was Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake. Quentin Blake illustrated a lot of Roald Dahl stories, and most readers automatically 'see' the pictures he drew when they remember the story!
If you don't like drawing that much, maybe you have a friend who is and would like to help you illustrate your story!
Sharing your stories
When you have written your story, you could arrange to read it to a group of younger children.
