To extend this activity, you might like to experiment with glow-in-the-dark materials and/or glow sticks.

  • Try comparing glow sticks of different colours.
  • How long do glow sticks last when placed in hot or cold environments?
  • When might glow-in-the-dark materials or glow sticks be useful instead of torches?
