Life’s tough and as you go through your teens and on into adulthood the knocks don’t get any easier. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there will a lot of tears shed over the years. Luckily, with the million-and-one different beauty products available, you can at least rest assured your mascara won’t run.

Look at the ingredients in various mascaras – ones that claim to be waterproof and ones that don’t; find out what the different ingredients do
Try to make your own water resistant mascara
Try applying mascara to fine hairs and looking at them under a microscope to see if they make the hairs appear thicker
Test different make-up removers and cleaning products on mascara. See if you can remove it just using water.
