Commitment:

• Takes around 40 hours project time per student
• Can be completed as individual or team project or club activity

Project Selection:

• Self-selected by students; can be taken from project ideas resource

Project Approval:

• Teacher approves project
• Mentor is optional but advisable
• Local coordinator can help if clarification needed on any project

Registration:

• Teacher registers students/project with local coordinator
• The registration fee is £8 per student

Recording:

• CREST Silver Science (PDF 1418 KB) / Silver Technology (PDF 197 KB) Profile form and portfolio/report completed

Reviewing:

• Minimum three reviews by teacher or mentor
• Final evaluation by industrial or educational evaluator selected by local coordinator and in conjuction with mentor if appropriate
