Charlie Kronick - Biography
Chief Policy Adviser for Greenpeace, Charlie has worked in the fields of environment and development for over fifteen years at Greenpeace and as an independent consultant.  He has worked in the areas of hazardous waste, transport, energy, climate change and more recently in the areas of global food security and the environmental impact of genetic engineering.

But it is the challenge of responding to dramatic human impact on the global climate that will dominate environmental activism and thinking for the foreseeable future.  Throughout his career, his work has concentrated on the social component of environmental issues, as well as the relationship of growing economic globalisation to notions of both sovereignty and environmental protection.

Charlie was a speaker at the July 2005 x-change at the Dana Centre in London.
