The Science Communication Conference addresses the key issues facing science communicators in the UK.
The 2008 conference will take place on 19 and 20 May the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Savoy Place, London.

Each day the conference will run sessions in three strands - engaging to inspire and educate, engaging to involve and engaging through the media and PR.
The conference aims to:
- demonstrate and discuss the contribution science communication activities are making to the various broadly-shared strategic aims for public engagement
- raise awareness of new developments
- promote greater understanding and cohesion amongst those working in science, technology and engineering communications
- provide opportunities to network, share ideas and good practice
The Science Communication Conference is aimed at key people who are engaged in science communication, a diverse group of people from a broad range of backgrounds.
