Are you worried that the public ignore research? Or concerned that not enough young people pursue research careers? The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) has a range of funding available to help you make a difference.
In 2008 and 2009, the BA will run a series of workshops on behalf of EPSRC. The day-long workshops will be for scientists who currently hold, or plan to apply for, one of the public engagement awards available to EPSRC-funded scientists. These include the Partnerships for Public Engagement (PPE) awards, Senior Media Fellowships and the Public Communications Training fund.
