The miracle of life never ceases to amaze me.  Immediately after i gave birth to my first child, I stared, rather stunned, and silently thought - WOW!  I have made this baby, how clever is that, it's a miracle.  Before the birth, i thought about how the baby would look.  Would the baby have brown hair like me or blonde hair like his father, blue eyes or green?  It's fascinating how genes affect the way we look, from the clour of our skin to the colour of our eyes.
