Alice first studied business & finance law in London. Feeling business was not the way she wanted to go, she returned to Belgium to complete degrees in philosophy and neuroscience.
Having worked in marketing and communication, she started to work at two research institutes For the Vrije Universiteit Brussels she worked on eHealth, specifically the relationship between ICTs and healthcare. At the Flemish institute for Technology Assessment she worked on the Meeting of Minds project, a European Commission funded research initiative on the impact of the explosion in research techniques & knowledge in brain sciences.
She is currently working towards a PhD on the impact of information & communication technologies (in particular 3D virtual reality) on the subjective experience of the individual.
