            NOVEMBER

28th - Self Nomination Deadline. All self-nominations at gold level must have been submitted by this date for consideration to attend the Big Bang: UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair. For more information go to www.the-ba.net/sciencefair .

28th - National Science Competition Deadline. All entries into the new National Science Competition must be submitted by this date. For more information go to www.nationalsciencecompetition.org.

4th-6th - Big Bang: UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair. This event will be held over three days in the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre, Westminster, London. It is the culmination of the National CREST awards, te Young Engineers for Britain and the new National Science Competition.

6th - 15th - National Science and Engineering Week. Get involved in loads of really cool activities in your school and local area. If you can't find one, make one! 'Everything changes' is the theme and you can find loads of help and advice on the Ba website under National Science and Engineering week (NSEW).
