Institutional Membership
Discussion at BA Festival X-Change 2003
The BA is proud to have a strong network of Institutional Members made up of universities and colleges, research councils, professional societies, science centres, charities and other not for profit organisations.

Institutional membership of the BA has many benefits. It provides institutions with a way to get involved in the BA's many science in society events, programmes and activities. For an annual fee of £250+VAT your organisation will be entitled to:

  • Quarterly editions of the BA's magazine, Science & Public Affairs
  • BA e-communications with the latest information about national and regional BA events, and the Science News Digest, a weekly round-up of the top science stories collated by the BA's Press Team
  • 10% discount on tickets to any event at the BA Festival of Science
  • Reduced advertising rates in Science and Public Affairs
  • BA voting rights
  • Invitations to networking events such as the BA Festival Dinner where you will be able to meet other BA members, supporters and sponsors
  • Listing alongside other institutional and corporate members on the BA website, Festival of Science programme and annual review
  • The opportunity to include information in our e-newsletter for schools, which is sent to all schools partipating in our CREST (Creativity in Engineering, Science and Technology) programme once a term
