the-BA : Liverpool x-changes

A community x-change ran in Liverpool this summer 2008. The series of workshops is now complete. An event on Monday 8 September, during the BA Festival of Science, will see the launch of the video report. Further reports on the project will be available on this website once they are complete.

An independent evaluation of the community x-change in East Anglia was commissioned. This led to the employment of a Liverpool-based Community Engagement Worker. Relationships have been developed with three community groups in Liverpool within Toxteth, Liverpool 8. Members of the Somali Women's Group, the Al-Ghazali Multi-Cultural Centre and the Pakistan Association Liverpool have all attended workshops, as have a small number of scientists, who live and work in Liverpool.
