Important notice for Science Communicators members

The BA is phasing out the Science Communicators scheme in 2008/09. The scheme will be re-launched in September 2009 under the CREST 'umbrella'.

The CREST (CREativity in Science and Technology) award scheme was established 21 years ago and is highly regarded by educationalists, industry and organisations involved in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) enrichment and engagement. CREST is uniquely placed to disseminate learning through an extended network of contacts, large enough to have a national impact yet in addition exceptionally locally and regionally responsive. The redeveloped Science Communicators scheme will benefit from an association with CREST. The support available and resources will also be improved.

The BA would like to thank you for supporting Science Communicators. You may continue to use the Science Communicators scheme with your students up until 21st July 2009. You will be invited to register students for the new communicators awards from September 2009.
