the-BA : Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the 2008 perspectives scheme, applicants had to be:

a postgraduate or postdoctoral scientist, social scientist or engineer funded by one of the UK Research Councils
available to attend one of three summer workshops (24 June, 2 and 11 July)
available to attend the BA Festival of Science in Liverpool from 7 to 11 September (travel and accommodation are provided)

Applications from former finalists will not be considered.

Research does not have to be application driven; we especially encourage scientists involved in pure research to apply.
