Richard Hollingham - Biography
Richard Hollingham is an author, radio presenter and writer, specialising in science and environment. He is the co-author of 'How to Clone the Perfect Blonde' (longlisted for the Aventis Science Writer Award 2004). He presents science programmes for BBC Radio 4 and World Service, he also writes features for New Scientist and The Times. He has reported on Space Science from Baikonur, French Guiana and Houston.
Richard writes science features for the Times, New Scientist, BBC News Online and the Mail. He has written on a broad range of subjects and extensively on space research. This has included features on Beagle 2, the International Space Station, astrobiology (from Antarctica) and Smart 1.
Richard has an extensive broadcasting experience. He is shortly to write and present a programme for Radio 4 on the Cassini mission to Saturn. He presents a weekly science/environment programme for BBC World Service as well as science programmes for Radio 4. He has previously made programmes on, among other things, the geology of the moon, the Galileo mission and the European Space Agency.
