Working Lunches
The BA Working Lunches

Working Lunches focus on the practical issues affecting science communicators today.  The lunches provide opportunities for professional science communicators from a range of backgrounds to develop their skills.  By networking and sharing good practice at the lunches, science communicators enhance their knowledge of current developments in public engagement and dialogue.

Facilitation Working Lunch
In June 2007, the Environment Council ran a Working Lunch at the Dana Centre on facilitation skills.

East Midlands Working Lunch
In May 2007, as part of the East Midlands iFestival, a Working Lunch took place to discuss the subject communicating science: for love or profit?

sciencehorizons Working Lunches
In December 2006 and January 2007, four sciencehorizons Working Lunches took place in Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and Oxford

Past Working Lunches
Working lunches have been held regionally and at the BA Festival of Science.  You can search for reports about the Working Lunches by location and by subject.
