Management of organisational change
The key challenges to organisational change are how to engage communities, and to increase inclusion, diversity and openness. So what does organisational change actually mean? Participants felt it meant a number of things including being open to all groups, reflecting the local community so finding out who they are, what they want, what do they need etc. To do this, there must be a change in structure as well as changing people’s attitudes towards diversity. There needs to a long term plan in place with resources available to facilitate change.
Why is there a need to engage? Because demographics show that there are new arrival communities and increase in number of languages so we need to include everyone.
