The BA Festival of Science 2004 proved once again that the Festival reaches millions of people through the media, from the Six O'Clock News to the Terry Wogan Show, and from the Daily Telegraph to the Daily Sport. This year saw the highest amount of national and international TV and radio since our records began, and most of the broadsheets carried full pages from the Festival each day.
This year's Festival had a wide variety of stories featuring methane on Mars, decomposing pigs, air pollution and climate change, and the Muppet scientists. The top 10 stories were:
